Tofu Lettuce Wraps
These lettuce wraps are so fresh and quick, perfect for lunch or as an appetizer!
Servings: 2
Ingredients:
½ onion, finely diced
1 8 oz. package of mushrooms, finely diced
1 block of tofu, pressed and crumbled
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp minced garlic
½ tsp minced green chilies
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chili crisp (use ½ tbsp for less spice)
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tsp sriracha
Romaine or butter lettuce leaves
Directions:
Heat a pan on medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil
Add onion, ginger, garlic and green chilies and cook until onions are translucent
Add mushrooms and crumbled tofu and cook for 5-6 minutes
Add sesame oil and remaining sauces and toss to coat evenly
Cook for another 3-4 minutes, tossing often
Scoop some of the mixture onto a lettuce leaf and enjoy!
