Spicy Salsa

This restaurant style salsa is easy and delicious!

Servings: 5 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, roughly chopped

  • 2 tomatoes, roughly chopped

  • ½ cup cilantro

  • ½ cup pickled jalapenos

  • 1 cup pickled jalapeno juice

  • 1 15 oz. can diced tomato with juice

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic (or 6 cloves, minced)

  • 1 tbsp oregano

  • 1½ tsp chili powder

  • ¾ tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients into a high power blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until you reach desired thickness

  2. For chunky salsa, blend less

  3. For smoother salsa, blend more

  4. Store in an air tight glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks

  5. Enjoy with chips, nachos, quesadillas, burritos and more!

Notes:

If you don’t have a high power blender, place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use an immersion blender/hand blender until you get desired consistency.
