Spicy Salsa
This restaurant style salsa is easy and delicious!
Servings: 5 cups
Ingredients:
1 onion, roughly chopped
2 tomatoes, roughly chopped
½ cup cilantro
½ cup pickled jalapenos
1 cup pickled jalapeno juice
1 15 oz. can diced tomato with juice
1 tbsp minced garlic (or 6 cloves, minced)
1 tbsp oregano
1½ tsp chili powder
¾ tsp salt
Directions:
Add all the ingredients into a high power blender (like a Vitamix) and blend until you reach desired thickness
For chunky salsa, blend less
For smoother salsa, blend more
Store in an air tight glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
Enjoy with chips, nachos, quesadillas, burritos and more!
Notes:
If you don’t have a high power blender, place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use an immersion blender/hand blender until you get desired consistency.
